Blue Medusa – Crocodile

Blue Medusa by Beatriz Mariano

Following the success of singles ‘Checkmate’ and ‘Flying Monkey’, Alissa White-Gluz’s BLUE MEDUSA unveil powerful new single ‘CROCODILE.’.

Dark, tense and viscously unsettling, ‘CROCODILE.’ explores the creeping sense that danger is close at hand – even when it remains hidden from view.

“‘Crocodile.’ is about that feeling that you’re being watched… that instinctive dread when you know something dangerous is nearby, even though you can’t see it,” explains WHITE-GLUZ. “It’s the feeling that something is lurking just beneath the surface of what appears to be safe or familiar. That tension between what you perceive and what you sense; that is where the song lives.”

‘CROCODILE.’ marks the latest chapter in WHITE-GLUZ’s ongoing visual collaboration with Vicente Cordero of Industrialism Films, with the pair once again co-directing the stunning accompanying music video.

The video features BLUE MEDUSA’s first ever full-band performance, with WHITE-GLUZ playing a one-of-a-kind custom guitar built by Nik Huber Guitars as part of a unique three-way collaboration between Sea Shepherd, Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein and BLUE MEDUSA. The guitar is autographed by Alissa and Doyle, includes Doyle’s signature Von Frankenstein Monster Gear pick-ups and strings and will be auctioned to raise funds for Sea Shepherd’s global marine-life conservation efforts.

The video also features creative genius, Beatriz Mariano of Okkultist, who contributes chilling visuals and heavy vocals to the video and track.
