Odie Leigh – Corner Store

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Odie Leigh is back with her new single, “Corner Store,” co-produced by Matt Martin (Faye Webster, COIN, Delaney Bailey, Aidan Bissett), and available everywhere now. An official lyric video is out now on YouTube. A live favorite from her intimate ongoing solo acoustic tour Odie Leigh is…Alone, this one has made its way out of the vault.

“If love is extending oneself for another, then buying a bag of chips can be a declaration. A plea for an ex lover to give up and give in, “Corner Store” speaks the unspoken thoughts behind casual bids for connection,” says Leigh. “To be cared for is a rare and intimate thing, so next you’re asked “need anything from the store?” consider that they might be saying “I love you. I miss you. I can’t wait to see you.” Now, don’t you feel lucky?”

Last month, Leigh returned with “Miss Leave Me Alone,” heralding the imminent arrival of a hugely anticipated new album to be unveiled soon.

She has been celebrating her return with a very special ongoing solo acoustic tour. Odie Leigh is… Alone continues with a sold-out hometown two-night stand at Detroit, MI’s Moondog Café (November 4-5), and a sold out show at Chicago, IL’s Schubas Tavern (November 6).
