Ines Rae – Pretty Girls Scare Me

With the release of ‘Miniature Man’ earlier in May, Ines Rae is only just getting started as she looks to make 2025 her year. With a collection of acclaimed singles already under her belt, Ines looks set to shine as she unveils new track ‘Pretty Girls Scare Me’, ahead of her forthcoming EP.
With a pounding drum beat and swelling piano chords, Ines’ latest anthem tells tales of isolation and coming of age. Providing a heartfelt, bittersweet commentary, the single sports soaring choruses whilst holding onto that intimate, authentic feel. ‘Pretty Girls Scare Me’ has its roots in the world of luminous, contemporary pop, whilst bringing an emotional undercurrent that cuts deeper than expected, reinforcing Ines Rae’s resonant creativity.
Aside from feverish support from the industry, Ines Rae has worked with the likes of Bastille and Fickle Friends and has written alongside prolific songwriters including Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga) Kal Lavelle (Ed Sheeran) and Adam Rust (Little Mix, Becky Hill, Nathan Dawe). For ‘Never Get It Right’, a track featured on the official soundtrack for the Golden Globe and Emmy Award-nominated Netflix series Emily In Paris, Ines also worked alongside award-winning artist/producer Shura.
