Phoenix Laoutaris – About You

British soulstress Phoenix Laoutaris returns today with her new single “About You,” a silky, horn and saxophone-driven R&B track that captures the feeling of falling for someone who already feels like home – when friendship begins to blur into something deeper and the possibility of a future together lingers just beneath the surface.

Equal parts tender and self-assured, “About You” finds Phoenix embracing the soul, hip-hop, jazz, and R&B influences that have shaped her artistry, while channeling the warmth and musicianship of classic soul through a contemporary lens.

Phoenix shares, “’About You’ is playful, emotional, and doesn’t overthink itself, which is exactly where I’m at creatively right now. I’ve spent the last few years figuring out who I am and what I want to say. This song feels like the start of a new chapter and the closest I’ve come to making music that feels completely like me.”

Born and raised in Totnes, Devon, Phoenix first gained attention with her debut single “Flowers,” released via WEAREBLK in 2021. The track earned praise from CLASH Magazine, which described her as “something special,” while support from BBC Radio 1’s Future Artists with Jack Saunders, DJ Target, and René LaVice helped establish her as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging voices.

“About You” marks the first in a series of releases planned throughout 2026 and 2027.
