Tenille Arts – Lonely Weekend

Tenille Arts made history, when her “Somebody Like That” single became the first #1 country song written, produced and performed by an all-female cast. Her new single, “Lonely Weekend,” via Dreamcatcher Artists via ONErpm, follows a similar path.
Tenille wrote the sassy, emotionally raw, late-night drive breakup anthem with Alex Kline and Autumn Buysee, and, like “Somebody Like That,” Kline also produced the track.
“After releasing two really emotional breakup songs, I wanted ‘Lonely Weekend’ to feel like the turning point — the moment where you stop crying over someone and start getting confident, sarcastic, and honest about it,” said Tenille. “It’s the kind of breakup song you blast in the car with your best friends while trying to convince yourself you’re fully over it… even if there’s still a little hurt underneath.”
Tenille kicked off a busy CMA Fest week with a performance at The Listening Room Café on Tuesday and wrapped performing at 5th Annual Ryman & BMI Block Party Saturday afternoon and the Bluebird Café that evening. The three-day Block Party event curated by BMI featured performances from 16 artists at the outdoor stage on PNC Plaza.
