‘London’s All Over Me’ is a story about a breakup that lingers even when you’re on a different continent from the one you loved. The heartbreak is so thick that even the city itself feels like it traveled with you.
Speaking on the story behind the track, Box Blonde shares: “The man I built a life with in London has already moved on with a much younger, prettier version of me. The song is filled with the ache of lost love and the questions that never stop: Do you smell like me? Because London is all over me. It’s cinematic in its storytelling… meant to be listened to on a train, in a car, on a plane. This is a song for the heartbroken. Another beautiful thing about this song is that it is a three part Apollo track meaning that myself, Eden Hunter and Izzy Steele (Little Dog Star) wrote this track together!”
