Urge Surfer – Camp Club

Buffalo based electro-pop duo Urge Surfer is back with Camp Club, featuring two new tracks, including lead single “Cherry Pick.”

Camp Club is the result of retreating into the rural rolling hills of Western New York for a weekend of collaborative writing. In early August 2026, multi-instrumentalists Jordan Maelyn Smith and Chelsea O’Donnell packed a car full of modular synthesizers, an acoustic guitar, recording equipment, and a heap of hopes that a fresh new locale, secluded from the world, would serve as a fruitful venue for pop songwriting. Songs came quickly and rather than wait, they decided to release them into the wild ASAP. In the months leading up to it, they had been calling this retreat ‘Urge Surfer Summer Camp’ with the intention of stepping back from the pressures of previous releases – focusing on having fun – so it felt natural to dub these new dance inspired tracks Camp Club.
