Bella Poach – My Boy

Global pop phenomenon Bella Poarch brings listeners deeper into the imaginative world of her forthcoming debut album with the release of her new single “My Boy,” arriving alongside a whimsical, fantasy-inspired music video.
“My Boy” reveals a brighter, more upbeat side of Bella’s artistry, pairing infectious pop melodies with the surreal storytelling and imaginative world-building that define Bella’s upcoming debut studio album, PICNIC AT THE CEMETERY. The single and its accompanying music video expand the album’s universe, bringing Bella’s hand-drawn characters, known as “The Bigheads,” to life as they guide audiences into a new chapter of the story.

Inspired by classic fantasy tales, the video follows Bella through a dark forest where she discovers a hidden doorway leading to a surreal carnival concealed amongst the trees. Featuring rabbit-inspired members of Bella’s hand-drawn characters, The Bigheads, this visual offers a glimpse into the world Bella has created around the album.
“’My Boy’ is about the kind of love that becomes all consuming,” Bella explains. “It’s playful, a little dreamy, and not too serious. I wanted it to feel like stepping into the world I’ve created for PICNIC AT THE CEMETERY and getting caught up in that feeling of excitement and possibility.”
With “My Boy,” Bella continues to reveal the many dimensions of PICNIC AT THE CEMETERY, a coming-of-age pop fantasy that blends playful imagery, dark fairytale influences, and deeply personal storytelling. As the album’s world expands, each release unlocks a new piece of the larger narrative and introduces fans to the characters, places, and emotions that inhabit it.
Bella continues to build momentum toward her debut album PICNIC AT THE CEMETERY. She will perform new music from her upcoming album live for the first time at her GRAMMY Museum Spotlight Performance and Q&A on July 15; tickets are available here. Bella made a series of high-profile appearances, most recently attending this year’s Gold Gala as well as serving as an in-show presenter at Billboard Women in Music Awards, walking Red Carpets like the Fashion Trust U.S. Gala earlier this year, sitting front row at Gucci during the two most recent Milan Fashion Weeks, and walking in this year’s AHA Red Dress Concert. She graced the cover of Vogue Philippines, further cementing her presence across music and fashion. Her work continues to resonate across pop culture, including her recent renditions of “Zombie” and “Don’t Fear the Reaper,” both featured in Netflix’s most recent season of Wednesday.
