Imogen Valentine – Little Miss Optimist Deluxe

London-born, NYC-based dream pop artist and songwriter Imogen Valentine releases the Little Miss Optimist deluxe EP, expanding on the original Little Miss Optimist EP which has already surpassed 200,000 organic streams after its release earlier this year.

Alongside the original EP tracks, the deluxe features two new songs; “Athena,” a follow up to her song “Lady Karma,” and “For The Girls,” a love letter to girlhood.

On the deluxe EP Imogen says, “When I finished Little Miss Optimist, I felt like there was still more to excavate, both musically and emotionally. The two new tracks allowed me to explore girlhood and womanhood more deeply, themes that have become increasingly important to me as an artist. Through making this project, I’ve realized how much I want my music to create a safe space for women to exist fully as themselves, to embrace their femininity in whatever form that takes, and to celebrate all the different experiences that come with being a woman.”
