Betty Who – Sweat

Betty Who by Zak Cassar

Today, trailblazing singer-songwriter and actress Betty Who releases her second single of 2025, “SWEAT” out everywhere now via Firebird.

Kicking off with a cheeky “What song is this? Turn it up!,” “SWEAT” is a pulsing, lively offering with a bright summer backdrop. Heavy synths mix with deep bass and distorted vocals to create what is sure to be a club hit. The music video is a kaleidoscopic, moody visual accompaniment that perfectly captures the track’s dynamicness and energy.

“‘SWEAT’ is meant to feel like pure joy – the feeling of losing yourself on the dance floor with your friends, the DJ playing your favorite song, and every beat reminding you how good it feels to just let go,” shares Betty. “I wanted to make something that celebrates being alive, being free, and moving your body like nobody’s watching—just in time for Pride and summer, baby!”

Furthermore, her recently-announced ‘Out Of The Darkness’ summer tour begins next week, which will see her take the stage at World Pride in Washington D.C on June 6th. Betty Who will also join the LA Philharmonic for a special performance on August 30th at The Ford in Los Angeles.

“SWEAT” follows on the heels of “Run!,” Betty Who’s first new original single since 2022 and a triumphant return. The single is a bold, celebratory track about finding your passion and “chasing something bigger than yourself,” shares Betty.

Betty’s upcoming ‘Out Of The Darkness’ headline tour, kicking off tomorrow, sees her bringing her bold anthems and dynamic performances across North America in partnership with GLAAD. Beginning in Sonoma at Sonoma Pride Festival, the tour will stop in cities including New York City, Boston, Chicago, and more before concluding in San Diego on July 2nd with Crush Club, Molly Grace, and Rozzi as warm up acts.
