The Go For Broke Tour

Go For Broke Tour

This Spring, NOBRO, Bad Waitress, and Gen and the Degenerates team up for The Go For Broke Tour across the United States. During a time of political unrest, the tour serves as welcome home for unrepresented youth, LGBTQ+, women, and anyone who shouts for abortion and equal rights. Keeping ticket prices affordable and venues intimate, the bands promise a killer live show and a place for community to build. The run kicks off in Las Vegas at Punk Rock Bowling, taking off through the west coast and ending June 15th in Boston, MA.

NOBRO

Fresh off a JUNO win for Rock Album Of The Year with the exhilarating Set Your Pussy Free (Dine Alone Records) is Montreal new-age punk outfit NOBRO. A record about the ecstatic pursuit of personal escape and liberation even as the walls are closing in, Set Your Pussy Free rages against modern life’s restrictive pressures and dares them to a game of chicken with middle fingers raised. NOBRO is the space where the members Kathryn McCaughey and Karolane Carbonneau get to take risks and chances, cultivating power and happiness in a hard, mean world. The band has taken their raucous live show to Canada, Europe, and North America, and have supported the likes of Blink-182, PUP, Flogging Molly, Alexisonfire, Billy Talent, Fidlar, and The OBGMs.

Bad Waitress

Bad Waitress’ antsy art punk revels in fits of fury and ego. It spits in your face and winks, ferocious and playful. The Toronto-based four-piece play like they’re conspiring or casting a spell, each member wielding a different power, howls and erratic drum fills and fiery riffs fueling one another. The band’s 2021 album No Taste (Royal Mountain Records) conveys their penchant to write both fun, upbeat songs and pissed off tracks that channel artists like Sonic Youth, Fugazi, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The Stooges.

Gen and the Degenerates

Known for their mischievous spirit, unique sound, and tongue-in-cheek lyrics, Gen and The Degenerates are breathing fresh life into the indie music sphere. Led by charismatic force of nature Genevieve Glynn, their unique blend of punk attitude and anthemic songwriting has proved to be a memorable, chaotic party in a live setting. The Liverpool, UK band’s album Anti-Fun Propaganda (Marshall Records) dropped in 2024.
