Yves – Hysteric & Adam

Making waves around the world with a versatile signature style, widespread acclaim, and a growing devout fanbase, revered genre-shifting South Korean artist Yves releases double singles, “Hysteric” and “Adam,” today.

“Hysteric” settles into a dark, seductive deep-house groove. Over a looping, distorted bassline, Yves’s delivery shifts from airy humming to a candid confession: “I’m losing control, got nothing at all.” The title returns like a mantra—“Hysteric… Hysteric”—a thought she can’t quite shake. “Adam” lingers as its emotional afterimage.

Both tracks appear on Yves’ fifth EP CUTE & ANXIETY, out November 20. The five-track record also features Chilean artist AKRIILA on “Too Much.”

Beyond blurring sonic boundaries, Yves absorbs a myriad of inspirations, textures, and vibes within an inimitable sound. Essentially, CUTE & ANXIETY speaks to the extremes of Yves. With complex feelings, she explores the blurred boundary between cuteness and anxiety, and the moments that unfold between them.

At the top of the summer, Yves uncovered the music video for “Break it (feat. Lexie Liu),” which contributed to the excitement around both her fourth EP NAIL and single “NAIL (feat. Lolo Zouaï).” The latter has generated millions of streams and multiple spins on BBC Radio 1.

Next up, Yves will launch a headline tour across Asia and Australia. The tour begins on November 1 in Hong Kong followed by performances in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Japan. On November 15, she jets to Melbourne, Australia before the tour concludes on November 17 in Sydney.
