OLYMPIA – Have You Ever Been In Love?
London-based singer-songwriter and producer OLYMPIA makes her debut with Have You Ever Been In Love? an intimate and deeply vulnerable EP tracing her emotional journey from devastating heartbreak to unconditional, enduring love. In addition to the EP release OLYMPIA releases the video”Oh, My Love.”
Written, produced, and arranged entirely by OLYMPIA herself, Have You Ever Been In Love? is a striking accomplishment for the independent artist–both in its undertaking and its unwavering message.
The 5-track project moves through heartbreak, desperation, longing, happiness, and ultimately, surrender. Rather than treating lost love as an ending, OLYMPIA frames heartbreak as the beginning of a journey. A necessary part of the search for the person who is truly meant to stay.
Inspired by timeless songwriting and Greek poetry, OLYMPIA is bringing romance back into our world of modern and casual love. On the project, she shares, “‘Have You Ever Been In Love?’ is the concept of the journey of falling in love. Because whatever we lost was never meant for us. It’s all part of the human experience – relationships, love, pain, until the final destination, which is love. Everyone is destined to love and be loved.”
OLYMPIA’s own story mirrors the independence and determination at the heart of the record. Growing up on a small island in Greece, she always felt somewhat out of place. Packing her bags and leaving for England at 19, she’s been pursuing music ever since. Earlier this May, OLYMPIA sold out her launch show at The Water Rats in London.
Growing up on a small island with limited artistic opportunities, Olympia always felt out of place. After finishing school at the age of 19, she packed her bags and moved to England alone to pursue music, barely knowing the language. She spent the first years of her studies isolated, teaching herself English while studying and developing her songwriting. While at Leeds Conservatoire, she reached the finals of The Voice of Greece, finishing third. Although she received offers from major labels after the competition, she chose to remain independent to stay true to her artistic vision and create the music she has always been inspired by.
After graduating in 2023, Olympia moved to London, where she spent years crafting, writing, performing and collaborating and trying to merge herself into the city’s music scene, while couch-surfing and balancing everyday work to support her music. Her debut EP, Have You Ever Been in Love?, was written, produced, arranged, funded and performed entirely by herself and independently. Released in 2026, the project sold out its launch show at The Water Rats London in May.
