Nofar Margaliot – Fake Love

How little are we willing to accept, just to call it love?

Nofar Margaliot and Alon Wasserman’s Waterman Project present “Fake Love”, the first single from their joint album, which includes 14 songs in English.

“Fake Love” explores holding on to scraps of affection: small gestures that sustain big hopes, even when the relationship itself fails to give us what we need. Alternative pop meets soulful vocals, guitars and staccato piano in a sensual, melancholic atmosphere, recalling the mood of Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black.

Nofar Margaliot and Alon Wasserman co-wrote the lyrics and music. Alon also played, arranged and produced the track. Mixing and mastering are by Daniel Wertheimer. Nofar Margaliot is a singer and songwriter working in English and Hebrew. Her music draws on pop, soul and jazz, with classical and world music influences.
