Lambrini Girls – No Refunds
Brighton’s own Lambrini Girls, the explosive duo of Phoebe Lunny (vocals/guitar) and Selin Macieira (bass), announce their new album No Refunds out January 15th, 2027 via City Slang.
Alongside the news of their new album, Lambrini Girls introduce the No Refunds era with their new single and music video “Bang Bang Bang,” which pushes the duo’s trademark ferocity into new and unexpected territory.
The new song tells an instinctive (and possibly familiar) story of, in Phoebe’s own words, “a man who has been revered as a Christ-like figure but also as the devil.” Alongside the track, Lambrini Girls share the visceral music video for “Bang Bang Bang” directed by Harv Frost seeing the band perform in a sweaty, grungy space with an energetic audience.
The girls’ new single officially lights the fuse on this ambitious new chapter for the band. They’ve returned with an incendiary, sonically-adventurous sophomore record that radiates with Phoebe and Selin’s instinctive, vital energy. The first entry point into No Refunds arrived earlier this year with “Cult of Celebrity”, which purposely juxtaposed its seething takedown of celebrity culture with perhaps their most commercial, pop-minded track yet.
No Refunds is the anticipated follow up to their 2025 debut album Who Let The Dogs Out and is a darker, even more direct and radical record for a moment in history where little else would make sense. Its contents reads like a litany of modern horrors: genocide, fascism, the rise of AI and the descent into the grubby basement of the ‘manosphere’. That all of these separately terrifying ideas are happening concurrently, in the small window of time since Lambrini Girls’ debut not-two years ago, speaks to how necessary its writing became for the pair. Industrial punk sits alongside moments of pop-minded immediacy, angular basslines and unexpected vulnerability, with the duo pairing their most confrontational material with the dark humour and wit that has become synonymous with the duo.
The album’s evolution comes after an intensely difficult period for both members. Selin stepped back from touring in late 2025 after being burned out and subsequently triggering a manic episode as a symptom of her bipolar disorder, while Phoebe suffered a brain injury during the band’s first Australian tour. Both experiences forced the pair to confront the physical and emotional cost of a trajectory that had accelerated rapidly since their emergence, ultimately deepening their connection to the band and to the music they were making.
Lambrini Girls rapid ascent has continued throughout 2026, with the band appearing at some of the world’s biggest and most influential festivals, including Bonnaroo, Pukkelpop, Lowlands, Rock En Seine, Oya, Way Out West, Flow and Primavera Sound. The duo will be taking the new album on the road in 2027, with an extensive run of UK and European headline dates, find a full list of live moments below.
Lambrini Girls breached the door to global rock consciousness with the raw charisma, barbed humor and combustible shredding of their debut album Who Let The Dogs Out in 2025. Released as an opening musical statement for the year in January last year, the album permeated throughout the rock world, with the band gracing the covers of NOTION, Kerrang!, Paste, and New Noise, with support from the likes of Variety and Pitchfork, who noted the album “rails against misogyny, homophobia… with righteous fury.” They’ve heaped praise and admiration from the likes of Bikini Kill’s Kathleen Hanna, Iggy Pop and Sleater Kinney, and shared stages with IDLES, Amyl & The Sniffers & more.
