London-based Spanish-Irish singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Matilda Gracia returns with “The Industry”, a powerful alternative pop anthem celebrating creative independence and the artists who continue to create on their own terms.

Written and produced by Matilda, the track explores the pressure musicians face in an increasingly algorithm-driven world, questioning the idea of defining creative success with trends, numbers or external validation.

Inspired by her own journey of teaching herself music production to gain complete creative freedom, “The Industry” is both a personal statement and a wider celebration of independent artists. Combining driving synths, chant-like vocals, singer-songwriter storytelling and a bilingual English-Spanish bridge, the song delivers its central message:

“We hold the key, we are the industry ‘cause what we do matters”
