Written and produced by LAILA!, “Miss Mango” further showcases multifaceted artistry first introduced on her critically acclaimed, fully self-written and self-produced 2024 debut album, Gap Year!. Equal parts playful, confident and empowering, the breezy anthem is for anyone who has ever lost themselves chasing someone else’s validation before rediscovering their own worth.

Adding another talent to this multihyphenated creative force, the visual for “Miss Mango” was creative directed by LAILA! and directed by Moldyroom. Filmed on the island of St. Thomas, a place that has served as a source of creative inspiration for LAILA!, the rich, warm, vibrant and cinematic visual perfectly complements the record’s empowering message through colorful island scenery and sun-soaked imagery, offering an early glimpse into the creative world surrounding LAILA!’s next chapter.
