The Linda Lindas – Burning Out

Los Angeles quartet The Linda Lindas sign to Reprise/Warner Records and share “Burning Out,” an evocative new single released today alongside a video by Nathan Castiel.
“‘Burning Out’ felt so simultaneously new and nostalgic for us, and I think that was super fitting for me especially, because I had just graduated high school and I was feeling very surrounded by change,” says Lucia de la Garza. “We went on a week-long writing retreat in Palm Springs less than a month after graduation, and that’s where we wrote this song about feeling like the world is passing you by. Knowing that my friends would all be going to college in the fall, it made sense my head was in a very nostalgic place.”
In 2024, The Linda Lindas released their second full-length album, No Obligation, to wide critical praise. On it the band further advanced their unironic, joyful, and exciting trajectory of mashing up L.A. punk with post punk, garage rock, power pop, new wave and rock en español. The album further cemented them as one of the most exciting young bands, defying expectations and challenging norms.
The Linda Lindas will be touring with Bleachers on the west coast this fall, as well as at Tom Morello’s Power To The People Festival.
