Chanpan – North American Headline Tour

Following their Governors Ball debut, Chanpan announce their first-ever North American headline tour this September. Spanning 17 dates across the continent, the run will conclude with a hometown show in New York City at Baby’s All Right. Artist and venue presales begin Thursday, June 11th at 10 a.m. local time, with general on-sale following Friday, June 12th at 10 a.m. local time.

In tandem with the announcement, the trio also shares “i got a gun,” the final single from their upcoming EP autogratis, out June 25th via EQT Recordings.
They opened this past weekend’s Governor’s Ball set with the song and the band’s performance got attention from Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, The FADER, and more. Teen Vogue highlighted the trio’s set, writing, “The act represents the success story of homegrown talent, going from busking in the city to playing its biggest festival, establishing themselves as ones to watch.”
The fast-paced track builds into explosive break-beat-backed moments that are brought to life in its accompanying video. The song and its visual frames the trio tapping back into their signature sociopolitical commentary, exploring the fear of being followed and the extreme measures queer people and women often feel forced to consider in order to protect themselves.
Previously, the trio teased the record with the frenetic, genre-blurring single “buzzin,” which followed their debut performance of the track on COLORS. They followed it with “confessions part iii,,” a full-throttle rock anthem that pays homage to their roots, performing on the streets of Chinatown.
For autogratis, the band reunited with key collaborators, including producer Frankie Scoca (NewJeans, Sevdaliza), Pom Pom (John Legend, flowerovlove), mix engineer Migui Maloles (Daniel Caesar, Killer Mike), and mastering engineer Alec Ness (Paris Texas, After), in addition to new contributors like Louie Lastic (Kali Uchis, Destin Conrad) and Taydex & Wes Singerman (Joji, Keshi), among others.
Chanpan began in Chinatown, NYC, where Grace Dumdaw (they/them) and identical twin brothers Lance and Matthew Tran (both he/him) started busking to fund the recording of their first EP, endlessly. The three quickly grabbed the attention of the fashion and music world alike and later released the aforementioned EP and joined Haru Nemuri on tour in 2024. The band’s growth continued through 2025 with the release of their EP endlessly, sold-out headline shows in NYC and LA, several viral moments, K-Pop co-signs, and another tour with Post Animal.
