Liverpool-based singer-songwriter and musician Rachel Burnett shares her latest single ‘MAKE YOU MINE’ via APOLLO Distribution, a sultry alt-pop track exploring forbidden attraction, late-night longing, and the thrill of surrender through a KILLER vampiric love story.

Framed through a vampiric love story, the track unfolds on two levels. On the surface, it tells a darkly playful tale of desire, obsession, and consumption. Beneath that, it becomes a metaphor for sexual dynamics within relationships, an exploration of power, longing, and emotional control.

What sets her apart is the precision of her world-building. Every sonic choice is mirrored visually, creating a cohesive narrative that extends beyond the music itself. Rather than existing as standalone releases, her work feels episodic, with each track revealing another piece of a larger story.

‘Make You Mine’ forms part of an upcoming conceptual EP, due later this year, which reimagines well-known stories through a female perspective. Drawing from figures such as Eve and Lolita, the project reframes familiar narratives to centre women’s voices, agency, and interior lives.
