Bella Rios – Tylenol

Rising singer-songwriter Bella Rios is channeling raw emotion with razor sharp honestly on her empowered, unapologetic new single, “Tylenol.”
Blending contemporary pop with the rebellious energy of alt rock, “Tylenol” turns a toxic past relationship into a source of power and showcases Rios’s ability to parlay deeply personal experience into songs that hit hard and linger longer than the smell of a burning cigarette.
Fueled by punchy guitars, a thumping chorus backing her unmistakably vulnerable yet powerful vocals, the track captures the emotional whiplash of modern dating.
“When I first played Tylenol’s guitar riff, for some reason, I immediately pictured a woman in an old western movie setting, experiencing a series of far from ideal relationship stints,” said Rios. “As the song’s story developed, I definitely wanted to communicate her choice to find empowerment and independence in her disappointing flings, rather than assuming fault or insecurity.”
Last month, Rios released her soaring single, “Daydream,” drawing inspiration from a summer day and effortlessly melding glossy production against a country-tinged pop rock palette.
“Daydream” kicked off a new chapter for the Nashville-based artist, and she’s entering this next era bigger, brighter and more self-assured (with a lot more music to come over the next few months). You can also check out Rios’s recent encore appearance on uber-popular, Webby-nominated TikTok sidewalk series Step to The Mike (where she crushed it despite the 10-degree temperature).
