Chase Petra – 405
Chase Petra’s electric new single, “405,” is out now via Wax Bodega.
The song is a playful jab at the Los Angeles party scene, and Hunter Allen’s attempt to be a part of it. The music video features Allen the morning after a party drinking coffee, reading Twilight, and dancing around her kitchen in a robe with a mop and an acoustic guitar.
Allen says about the song, “405 is about the moment you walk into a party, a show or whatever-the-hell-hip-people-do and you realize that you are so far out of your depth it’s laughable. Having grown up in Long Beach, the song expounds on the way Los Angeles has always made me feel: awkward, uncertain, and out of place.”
“405” is the first single from Chase Petra’s upcoming EP, A Terrible Ennui, out 6/26. The EP was produced by Sarah Tudzin (illuminati hotties), and features Josh Freese on the drums. The EP is being rolled out ahead of Summer School 2026 with Honey Revenge, South Arcade, Games We Play, and Winona Fighter. The tour ends with Warped Tour Long Beach, in Hunter Allen’s hometown.
