Bella Rios – Daydream

Bella Rios

Rising singer-songwriter Bella Rios has returned with her soaring new single, “Daydream.”

The track draws inspiration from a summer day and effortlessly melds glossy production against a country-tinged pop rock palette. It’s a song built for repeat spins, but the chorus and bridge will be stuck in your head on the very first stream.

“For me, if ‘Daydream’ were a specific place, time, scene – it would be the most gorgeous summer day on a lake with my closest friends and family, laughing and listening to some nostalgic country,” said Rios.

“Daydream” marks a new chapter in the Nashville-based artist’s career, and she’s entering this next era bigger, brighter and more self-assured (with a lot more music to come over the next few months). You can also check out Rios’s recent encore appearance on uber-popular, Webby-nominated TikTok sidewalk series Step to The Mike (where she crushed it despite the 10-degree temperature).

Earlier this year, Rios flaunted her dynamic range when she joined forces with electronic producer mulsh on their new single “Hold On.” The pair met while studying at Princeton and instantly formed a creative connection.

Bella Rios is a vocal powerhouse whose musical journey started when she first began learning classical piano at age five. Since then, she’s soaked up her parents’ collection of musical greats like Queen, Fleetwood Mac, and Aerosmith, as well as contemporary icons like Adele, P!nk, and Lady Gaga. This mix of pop-rock influences is imbued in the singer-songwriter’s fearless music which tackles topics like the euphoria of love and lows of heartbreak, the peaks and valleys of mental health and female empowerment.

As an ode to the experience of transitioning from full time Princeton student to Princeton grad making music full time, Rios released her Sophomore EP Right Now last summer.
