Loreen – True Love

Last month, multi-platinum, award-winning visionary artist Loreen releases her long-awaited new album Wildfire, a decade in the making, via Polydor France.

Today she releases the video for her new single, “True Love.”
The album features standout tracks including lead single “Feels Like Heaven” co-written with GRAMMY-nominated Sia and produced by Jesse Shatkin, the visionary hitmaker behind some of modern pop’s most emotionally resonant records alongside fan favourites “Is It Love,” the title track “Wildfire,” and the global phenomenon “Tattoo,” which topped charts in more than ten countries. Together, they showcase an artist continuing to evolve, pushing the boundaries of sound, emotion and storytelling.
Loreen says: “This album is about truth, the kind you find when you stop running from yourself. It’s about facing the parts of you that feel uncomfortable, the chaos, the destruction, and understanding that all of it has purpose. There is power in surrender, in letting things break so something new can be built. For me, Wildfire is that transformation, it’s vulnerability, its strength, it’s everything I am. I wanted to create something that doesn’t just sound beautiful, but feels honest, something that moves through you and awakens something deeper within.”
Arriving fourteen years after her groundbreaking debut Heal, Wildfire marks a bold new era for Loreen. Known globally for her powerhouse pop anthems, this album reveals the full spectrum of her artistry, balancing light and darkness, intimacy and intensity, vulnerability and strength. It is a deeply personal and spiritual project, shaped by over a decade of creative evolution.
At its core, Wildfire is an audio odyssey, a genre-fluid journey through emotive ballads, pulsating electronic production and euphoric, transcendent moments. From the raw introspection of “Where Do We Go From Here?” to the reverb-heavy electro of “Can’t Pull Me Down”, and impulsive, impassioned throbbing baseline of “Melt,” Loreen creates a sonic landscape that feels both intimate and cinematic.
The album expands in its later tracks, into a liberating crescendo of self-acceptance. “Lose That Light”, a collaboration with RnB heavyweight 6lack, explores the sensation of succumbing to fate and the universe. The album’s closing moments signal a powerful sense of release and self-acceptance. Tracks such as “Kiss the Sky” and new single “True Love” co-written with SAGES collaborator Ólafur Arnalds capture an artist transformed, embracing every facet of her experience with clarity and conviction.
