18th Annuel FoCoMX 2026 – Ft Collins, CO – April 24 & 25, 2026

The Fort Collins Musicians Association (FoCoMA) announces the all-Colorado music lineup for the 18th Annual Fort Collins Music eXperiment (FoCoMX).

FoCoMA and Fort Collins Connexion present FoCoMX with founding support from Odell Brewing Co., the largest showcase of Colorado music will feature 450+ live performances on 40 stages. The festival will take place throughout Downtown Fort Collins on Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th. Attendees can expect to hear every genre of music and discover many new Colorado music acts. The festival lineup is designed to showcase the authenticity, talent and creativity of Colorado musicians.

The full FoCoMX Artist Lineup includes 450+ acts representing all musical genres from Indie to Funk, and Bluegrass to Metal. The music lineup helps attendees hear bands they are familiar with, while also discovering new talents.  Performances are selected to provide something for every listener, every fan. Whether people prefer intimate performances, large concert experiences or something in between, the festival lineup and venues accommodate all musical experiences. The FoCoMX website will also offer fans ways to listen to bands ahead of time, build their own schedules, follow curated tracks and sort by venue, genre, and more. 

FoCoMX will host several special performances during FoCoMX 2026 including the showstopping high energy sweaty soul of The Burroughs, searing alt country from Gasoline Lollipops and a throw back show from Fort Collins own Fierce Bad Rabbit.

FoCoMX is primarily memories. New memories of artists unseen, and memories of artists we’ve seen many many times. Here are a few suggestions for new memories this year:

Angels In Electric Chairs

Bitchflower creates a blend of punk rock, psychedelic rock, and indie rock to produce captivating performances that can truly be felt as much as they can be seen and heard.

Cactus Cat

Cactus Cat is an exploration into parts unknown led by two gleaming saxophones with ethereal vocals, textural guitar, melodic bass, and all-encompassing drums. Expect danceable grooves, instrumental adventures, thoughtful lyrics, and just a bit of the unexpected.

Horse Bitch

Remember when the party started? That is the theme of Horse Bitch. This Denver band takes wild to new heights every set.

k8ie (a.k.a Katie Cunningham) is a 27-year-old, queer, multi-hyphenate musician based in Fort Collins, Colorado. She is currently preparing her debut EP, in collaboration with Plaid Dog Recording, for a Spring 2026 release

Midriff

Midriff is a four piece group of CSU students, formed in 2025. Although a new band, they’ve made a name for themselves in the Fort Collins music scene. They have played in venues you may have heard of like backyard, and another backyard!

Road Pony

Perhaps you saw Road Pony last year in Ft Collins. Meet Road Pony, the country band with more twang than a banjo at a family reunion. Fronted by Megan Burtt and Lauren Frihauf, whose harmonies could melt the coldest heart.

Sorry Sweetheart

With a sound that reminds listeners of all their favorite Warped Tour bands at once, Denver’s Sorry Sweetheart manages to seamlessly shift between a myriad of styles and moods. The brainchild of Denver ska veterans Leslie Hackworth and Zach Barker, Sorry Sweetheart has been holding down the ska punk scene in their city and dropping music since 2017.

The Spicy Pickles feat. Hannah Rodriguez

The Spicy Pickles is a Denver based 8 piece band. The Spicy Pickles was originally formed to play for swing dancers, and has since opened up their influences to include funk, soul, and pop, focusing on creating grooves that move people.
