Ally Salort – Finish Line

Los Angeles-based, New Jersey-raised singer-songwriter Ally Salort releases her new single “Finish Line,” a candid, emotionally honest reflection on the pressure to achieve, capturing the quiet ache of chasing success while learning to appreciate the present. “Finish Line” is out now via Disruptor Records/RCA Records.
On the single, Ally shares: “I wrote ‘Finish Line’ about wanting to appreciate exactly where I am in life. Enjoying the process more than worrying about the outcome. It’s an introspective song for moments when you need a little perspective or a reminder to stay present.”
The release follows “I’ve Never Met Her,” a dreamy pop track about outgrowing an old version of yourself and Salort’s October single “We’re Not Friends,” a bold, self-aware track that showcased her ability to confront emotional truths with clarity, wit, and vulnerability. These songs mark a new chapter in her artistry, highlighting a sharper, more confident lyrical voice.
It also builds on the foundation of her debut EP Change of Plans, released last summer. The project, featuring “Tattoo (Selective Memory),” “Horror Movie,” “Before & After,” “Pretty Face,” “Swiss Army Knife,” and “Any Way I Can,” introduced listeners to Salort’s vivid storytelling and emotional depth. Following the EP’s release, she headlined successful shows in New York and Los Angeles in August, performed a sold-out London date in September, and delivered a standout performance at Austin City Limits 2025 (Weekend Two).
Further amplifying the momentum behind her new music, Salort will join internationally acclaimed, multi‑platinum and award‑winning artist, producer, musician and songwriter Charlie Puth on his North American tour beginning this April. Supporting on all dates, she’ll bring her shimmering pop sensibilities and magnetic stage presence to major cities across the U.S.
