Originally released in early 2025 as the lead single from Ebril’s debut avant-garde album In Copula, the track quickly resonated with global audiences, captivating listeners with its raw honesty, poetic lyricism, and disarming vulnerability. With the arrival of its video “Stranger In You” now expands into a striking new dimension.

Since its debut, the song has become a defining moment on In Copula. Boasting over 25 million streams globally the track spotlights Ebril’s singular voice and her rare ability to weave delicate storytelling with fearless creative expression. The music video deepens that vision, immersive, imaginative, and unapologetically intimate, further cementing her reputation as an artist who thrives at the intersection of vulnerability and bold artistry.

“Ebril approached me about working together, and when we met, we learned we shared an appreciation for insects and nature. This inspired the idea of having her gradually merge with the landscape. She told me that ‘finding a stranger’ in someone is a positive thing: a continuous ability to surprise and be surprised.

For me, the video became about creating a natural environment where the viewer is pulled in by moving light, flowers, and its inhabitants, mirroring the lyric’s idea of discovering new facets of someone. Guided by curiosity, she allows herself to dissolve into the world and its glow, slowly fading into its light.”
