Loud Women Fest NYC – Brooklyn, New York – May 16, 2026

Loud Women Fest NYC 2026

International feminist music collective LOUD WOMEN announces the return of LOUD WOMEN FEST NYC, taking place Saturday 16 May 2026 at Main Drag Music, Brooklyn.

Following the “absolute magic” of its New York debut in 2025, the festival returns to the city for a second year – bringing together feminist, queer and DIY punk artists from across the US and UK for a night of radical community and loud solidarity.

Founded in London in 2015, LOUD WOMEN FEST has grown into a global showcase platform for women, trans and non-binary musicians across the punk, rock, indie and alternative scenes – with events in the UK, Australia, Canada, Europe, Japan, and more planned across the US. The New York edition continues the collective’s mission to build international connections between grassroots music communities.

The 2026 NYC lineup spans Brooklyn, Baltimore, Vermont, Washington DC, London, Wales and beyond, highlighting artists who not only make noise but actively organise within their scenes. Namely:

Bad Static (NYC)
Bitter Tits (Baltimore)
Burly Girlies (Vermont)
Cat Crash (Connecticut / NYC)
I, Doris (UK)
Izzy T (UK / LA)
Jack Powers (NJ / NYC)
JENNY ALIEN (London / NYC)
Mac N’ Toss (Washington DC)
Shaggo (Brooklyn)
T@b Grrrl (NYC)
The Nanaz (Wales, UK)

The event is co-organised with Brooklyn bands Bad Static and T@b Grrrl, key figures in the local DIY scene and now part of the growing LOUD WOMEN international network.

The lineup reflects the movement’s cross-generational and global ethos – from Gen-Z riot grrrl punks Mac N’ Toss, to Welsh art-punk newcomers The Nanaz, who formed through women-over-50 punk workshops and are now documenting their journey with the BBC.

LOUD WOMEN founder Cassie Fox said:

“The first LOUD WOMEN Fest NYC felt like lightning in a bottle – the community, the solidarity, the energy in the room. We knew immediately we had to come back.
