SHAB x Preston Harris – It’s On You
International pop artist SHAB releases her new single “It’s On You” today, February 27, available now on all digital streaming platforms.
The track, produced by Damon Sharpe serving as Shab’s first duet with Preston Harris (Kendrick Lamar, Terrace Martin), marks the first release of the year for SHAB and the lead single from an upcoming EDM-inspired EP set for release later during the 2026 springtime.
“It’s On You” introduces a fresh chapter in SHAB’s sound, blending emotional pop vocals with sleek electronic production. Known for her empowering music and fashion-forward style, “It’s On You” reflects an evolution in Shab’s artistry, leaning further into dance music while maintaining the storytelling and vulnerability that have defined her career.
“This song represents a new twist in my musical progression,” shares SHAB. “Working with Preston was incredibly inspiring. We connected creatively right away, and ‘It’s On You’ felt like the perfect way to open the year towards introducing what’s coming next. ‘It’s On You’ is the first peek at the work that will be reflected in an EP that I’ll be excited to share later this year.”
The release of “It’s On You” follows a breakthrough year for SHAB. In 2025, she earned her second U.S. Top 40 pop radio hit with “Lipstick,” toured nationally as the opening act for British hitmakers The Wanted and released her critically acclaimed album One Suitcase. SHAB also collaborated with producers including Damon Sharpe, Dallas Austin, RoccStar and Dave Audé, while continuing to build momentum across radio, streaming and television with appearances nationwide.
Throughout 2026, SHAB will continue releasing additional singles leading up to her forthcoming EP, recording new music for her third album and expanding her creative footprint beyond music. She is also growing her fashion brand DropTrou, a women-owned jumpsuit line designed to combine style and function for women on the go.
