Blusher – rager
Blusher have today unveiled their new remix EP rager via Warner Music Australia / Atlantic Records.
This follows their acclaimed 2025 EP RACER, and hears Jade, Lauren, and Miranda reimagining the tracks from the EP with their own remixes that they’ve been playing in their DJ sets across the globe. The EP is also joined today by the brand new track “rager”, which brings a nostalgic 2000’s touch to their signature fresh electronic pop sound with a chant ready hook that will be immediately stuck in your head. A limited edition 2-disc CD release of rager + RACER.
“The remixes on rager are kind of like you’re on a car ride where the three of us each take turns on the aux. We’re all music and production nerds at heart. We’re really creatively inspired by the idea of breaking a song down into its parts and reimagining it for a different purpose or place – it started out as us wanting versions of our songs we could play when we DJ. There’s a lot of influence from house, garage, electro, and hyperpop in these versions, and it felt cool to really lean into our individual tastes and personalities. If RACER convinced you to go out, rager is your soundtrack to what happens next.” Blusher says of rager.
This weekend Blusher will be hitting the road with Laneway Festival playing alongside the likes of Chappell Roan, Role Model, and PinkPantheress in Gold Coast and Sydney, before Melbourne next week. Later this month they will then support Kesha on her SOLD OUT The Tits Out Australian Tour. They will be joining her in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, for what promises to be a big glittery affair of pop music. Last month they also dropped an official remix of Kesha’s song “Glow” via Kesha Records, which hears them highlighted as producers and bringing their signature high-energy Dance-pop sound to this track.
