Gearing up for what has all the makings of a breakthrough year, Los Angeles-based soul-baring singer, songwriter, and pianist Alicia Creti serves up a smoldering and striking new single entitled “No One’s Business” available now via Atlantic Records.
Co-produced by Pop Wansel [Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Kehlani] and Andrew Shadrow [Doja Cat, Juice WRLD, Camila Cabello], the track throws it back to classic nineties R&B with a head-nodding bassline, smooth keys, and slick beat. Alicia transfixes with her alternately vulnerable and vivacious delivery, leaning into the verses with emotional electricity and flaunting her towering high register on the hook. Craving connection and opening herself up to love again, she confesses, “I want to come alive. I need something to believe in,” going on to urge, “Show me heaven tonight.” You not only believe, but also feel every word when she sings.
In November 2025, she dropped the fan favorite “Overwhelmed.”
The track made a memorable impact during her first sold-out headline show at Los Angeles’ Hotel Cafe last December, serving as the soundtrack to a momentous scene where two LGBTQ+ fans were officially married in front of the audience, with Alicia signing their marriage certificate as the official witness.
Produced by 4x GRAMMY® Award-nominee Pop Wansel (Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Kehlani, Alessia Cara), Happy Perez (Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey, Halsey, Camila Cabello), and Sam Harris of X-Ambassadors, who also co-wrote the song, “Overwhelmed” was shared as an unreleased demo at Alicia’s live shows throughout the year, including Calgary Stampede and the COLORSxSTUDIOS show in NYC this past May.
