The Plastic Cherries – Hollywood

Salt Lake City band The Plastic Cherries introduce the world to “Cherry Vision” with their take on “Hollywood.”

The Plastic Cherries are a genre-bending psych pop rock band started by Joe and Shelby Maddock in SLC. With pianist Natalie Hamilton, bassist Stephen Cox, and drummer Wayne Burdick, they have become a beloved act known for a bombastic live show.

Their new album The Plastic Cherries On The Moon tells a psychedelic story of escape and return, beginning with the anthemic single “Lovers On The Run.” The album features collaborations with SLC producer Denney Fuller of The Mellons and guest mixing from Chris Cohen.

The Plastic Cherries will be at the Hi Dive in Denver on January 14, 2026.
