Maddie Medley – Good Clean Fun

Denver indie-folk artist Maddie Medley releases the video for “Good Clean Fun.”
Co-directed by Medley and Curtis Wayne Millard, the video is a lush, dreamlike celebration of falling in love—surreal, cinematic, and bursting with a sense of rediscovered wonder.
“I wanted the ‘Good Clean Fun’ video to capture how surreal and fun it can be to fall in love; how it can bring all these beautiful, strange, buried feelings to the surface,” says Medley.
The “Good Clean Fun” video unfolds in a series of scenes, each vignette evoking the heady rush of intimacy and trust. Outfits were sourced from vintage and costume shops across Denver, Kansas City and Nashville, each piece adding its own texture to the story’s hazy nostalgia. Shot through Millard’s signature dream lens, the film suspends time, a hallmark of his visual language, allowing each frame to shimmer between memory and fantasy. His approach gives “Good Clean Fun” the feeling of a waking dream, echoing the song’s theme of love as an alternate reality.
A quiet presence named Teardrop appears throughout the video, a figure we’ll come to know more about in Medley’s upcoming work. For now, Teardrop remains an enigmatic thread connecting this era of storytelling.
