Wunder Beta – Love You To Beats
Rounding off a monumental year for WUNDER BETA, the London-based Brazilian-born artist looks to pull back the curtain on her debut EP, ‘Love You To Beats’. An empowering display of Bossa Nova-inspired, electro-fuelled alt-pop, the unveiling comes after dropping three teaser singles throughout 2025, drumming up support from the likes of Earmilk, Wonderland, and Noctis.
Pushing the boundaries of alternative electronica, the debut EP ‘Love You To Beats’ showcases WUNDER BETA as a dynamic creative force. Seamlessly fusing the synthesized intensity of electronica with the purity of contemporary pop music, the EP cuts a deep groove just as immersive as it is euphoric. Whirling organs and classical guitar lines give the EP a fascinating charm, guiding the listener on a journey of emotions. ‘Love You To Beats’ additionally features WUNDER BETA’s bespoke instrument, the MOrgana, highlighting her unique approach to the sonic arts. The four-track EP covers the highs and lows of self-discovery, with each of the EP’s tracks piecing together to form a colourful sonic tapestry, brimming with dazzling electronica and alluring Bossa Nova backbeats.
The EP additionally features the track ‘Live In The Now’, the latest single to be taken from the project. Coupling electronic melodies with a reminder of seizing the moment, the single highlights the diversity of WUNDER BETA’s sound, navigating optimism and emotion in the process.
Diving into the new single, she explains, “In a world where we’re constantly anxious and multitasking, presence feels like a radical act. I wrote ‘Live In The Now’ after I lost someone very unexpectedly. I realised how brittle life is. We’re here for a flash, and often we waste it on things that have little importance. The moment you are in right now? That’s everything. I wanted the final song of Love You To Beats to feel like a cosmic transcendence, the sky opening, your chest rising, the future and past melting into one hug. Look up. Feel the sunshine and the moonlight. Step into your soul. Reach new heights. Freeze time, at least for one track.”
Growing up in Rio De Janeiro, WUNDER BETA’s story started as a Computer Science undergraduate at university, before discovering entrepreneurship shortly after. Having held down a job at one of the largest TV broadcasters in the world, a lost bet soon brought her to London to start a new life. Not speaking English, with no contacts to lean on, she started to make a future for herself. With passion, understanding, and an open mind, she began learning English and founded the now BAFTA-award-winning games company. As of today, she is recognised as one of the most influential and celebrated figures in technology, earning herself a spot on Forbes’ Top 50 Women in Tech.
Despite this success, she still felt empty and disconnected from her spark. She needed a new avenue to turn to. WUNDER BETA was born. Fuelled by the same passion and drive that took her to the top of the games world, WUNDER BETA looks to strike zest, creativity, and empowerment to listeners across the world with her distinctive alt-pop brand. Taking her world-building, award-winning experiences in the games-design world, she looks to invigorate listeners worldwide, encouraging them to live in the now and enjoy life’s beauty. “I wrote this EP to take you on a journey of emotions, life stories, and dilemmas punctuated by unique beats. My lyrics were inspired by our longing to be loved, often feeling lost and lonely, and then finding purpose in the present moment. Unearthing answers on our deepest emotions, on the beat of our hearts, and the warm feeling of the sunset. I wanted to tell people about the magic of living in the now, loving to the fullest, and expanding our souls beyond the skies. Sonically, I created a kaleidoscope of electronic beats woven into my ethereal-dreamy vocals, with nods to my Brazilian Bossa Nova influences.”
