Mha Iri – Fury EP (Air)

Mha Iri2

Scotland’s own Mha Iri – one of the UK’s most exciting techno and hard dance exports – returns with her powerful and relentless Fury EP (Air), themed around the Air element and marking the final chapter in her acclaimed Four Elements series. Dropping as the nights grow darker, this three-tracker signals a bold evolution in her sound: harder, faster and built for the peak-time moment.

To celebrate the completion of the project, Mha Iri will release the Four Elements LP, a special vinyl bundle that brings together all four elemental EPs: Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. The LP will be available to pre-order from 7 November, with the digital release on 28 November and the physical LP out 5 December.

Led by the blistering title track “Fury”, the EP captures Mha Iri at full power, channelling the elemental energy that has defined her output over the past two years. Across “Fury”, “Acid” and “My Zone,’ she distils her signature emotional intensity into pure, physical dancefloor impact.

“Fury” delivers exactly what its name suggests – a cyclone of power and precision. “It’s the perfect example of a breakthrough into a harder, faster sound that I’m transitioning to and experimenting with. It encompasses the power of a cyclone. Fast and relentless with a crazy build and drop.”

“Acid” follows with laser-focused energy, “reminding me of a jet stream at full velocity – sharp and driving,” while “My Zone” veers into hardcore territory with a volatile vocal and unrelenting groove: “It chops and changes with relentless force.”

On the EP, Mha Iri shares, “Air is the last of the four elements to inspire my techno output, and the EP drops as the nights get darker and longer. Of any of the tracks across the whole series, Fury, Acid, and My Zone definitely push air hardest out of the speakers! I’m playing a tougher, groove-based sound in many of my sets and feeling great energy from the crowds all over the world. This set of tracks really represents how I’m playing and producing as an artist today – with plenty more to come in 2026.”

Across the Four Elements series, Mha Iri has channelled the natural world into sound, translating Fire, Water, Earth, and now Air into dancefloor-ready statements that balance raw power with emotion. From the molten heat of Fire and the deep, fluid pulse of Water, to the grounded weight of Earth and the soaring energy of Air, the project has charted her rise from underground innovator to one of techno’s most commanding new voices. Each release has captured a phase of her evolution, with Air standing as her most dynamic and definitive work yet.

A defining release for an artist fast becoming a global force, Fury EP (Air), cements Mha Iri’s reputation as a standout Scottish export, leading the new wave of hard, fast and powerful dance music. As she continues to tour worldwide and break new ground in the studio, her name has become synonymous with the unstoppable momentum driving the modern techno renaissance.

Ever inspired by the elements, which have formed the background and narrative for her complete the Four Elements release series, Mha Iri reflects and offers a mantra: “Remember that you are air; elevate, move freely, lift higher.”
