South Korean alt-pop/electronic artist ID:EARTH (아이디얼스) returns with her visionary new single ‘UTOPIA’, accompanied by a striking animated music video that transports listeners into a futuristic dimension.
The track serves as the title single from her forthcoming 4-track EP [UTOPIA], set for release in early 2026.
‘UTOPIA’ marks the next chapter in ID:EARTH’s ongoing exploration of civilization, technology, and humanity’s future. The single poses a central question: “What is the utopia humanity dreams of?” “The utopia presented is not a mere idealised paradise, but a dimension where the preservation of analog values coexists with technologies essential for the future,” ID:EARTH explains.
The futuristic animated music video for ‘UTOPIA’ brings ID:EARTH’s cosmic vision to life, offering a visual companion to the track’s philosophical themes. Building on the cinematic soundscapes and experimental approach that defined her acclaimed 2023 album ‘Space Station’, the new single showcases her signature dreamy vocal tone while pushing into bold new sonic territory.
The upcoming [UTOPIA] EP transcends traditional boundaries through its innovative lyrical approach—featuring reversible phrases that can be read backward, multilingual passages, and segments of ancient languages that symbolize the dissolution of linguistic barriers. “Just as seeds are preserved for the future descendants of Earth, the album envisions a world where the most essential values endure,” says ID:EARTH. “In [UTOPIA], love itself is also part of this ideal, proposing a society that follows the laws of nature while embracing the curiosity of new life—and ultimately asking whether we can take responsibility for the choices we make.”
