Lourdiz – To Love Ya

Cardi B’s highly-anticipated new album Am I The Drama? is a fiery display of what’s possible when some of the hottest females dominating the music scene come together. Beyond Cardi herself, the Billboard 200 #1 album this week, features Janet Jackson, Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Selena Gomez, Kehlani, Tyla, Summer Walker, and artist and songwriter Lourdiz. The 23-year-old, who’s signed with leading independent publishing company Prescription Songs, co-wrote and is featured vocalist on track 15 “On My Back”
Lourdiz is no stranger to being involved with #1 female rap albums. Originally from San Antonio, TX and now based in Los Angeles, Lourdiz first started breaking out after she co-wrote and was a featured artist on “Cowgirl” and co-wrote “Pink Friday Girls” off Nicki Minaj’s #1 album Pink Friday 2.
Lourdiz also co-wrote Doja Cat & Tyga’s single “Freaky Deaky,” Saweetie’s single “Closer” featuring H.E.R, and “Sunshine,” Tyga’s radio-charting single featuring Pop Smoke & Jhene Aiko. Other notable co-writes are Saweetie’s single “Back Seat” (that Lourdiz featured on as well), the ENHYPEN single “Bite Me,” Coi Leray’s single “Anxiety,” Erica Banks single “The Best,” G-Eazy’s single featuring blackbear “Hate The Way,” and Anitta’s singles “Poquito feat. Swae Lee” as well “Pantera,” which was in the Sony film Charlie’s Angels.
Beyond working alongside powerhouses, Lourdiz is a successful artist in her own right. Most recently, Lourdiz delivers as both a writer and vocalist with her sultry melodic hooks as heard on her latest single “if i can’t feel you,” which just dropped in late August. Her new single “To Luv Ya” to drop this Friday, October 3 on Amigo Records.
