Globally renowned British singer-songwriter Sonna makes her highly anticipated return with her new single, “Lost & Found”, via indie label Mountain Peak Records.
The track marks an extraordinary comeback for the North-West London native, whose soulful vocals, heartfelt lyricism and captivating melodies have already earned her millions of fans worldwide.
With a career that has seen her collaborate with icons including Ne-Yo and Eric Benét, Sonna first rose to international prominence when she performed “Strong”, the theme song for Disney’s live-action Cinderella. She has graced global stages including The American Music Awards and The Soul Train Awards, building a reputation as one of the UK’s most versatile and inspiring vocalists.
In 2022, Sonna’s journey took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with Superior Semicircular Canal Dehiscence (SSCD), a rare neurological disorder of the inner ear that left her unable to hear, sing, or even speak. Following complex surgery and a long, arduous recovery, Sonna courageously re-learned how to use her voice, ultimately reclaiming her passion for music.
Now, with “Lost & Found” Sonna channels this deeply personal journey into a song that is both vulnerable and uplifting. Co-written and co-produced by herself and longtime ally the renowned Livingstone Brown, the single showcases her signature soul-stirring vocals while offering a message of resilience and rebirth.
