Meghan Dowlen – Vacation & Anything

Today, Meghan Dowlen shares two new track “Vacation” & “Anything,” off her upcoming album Dizzy Spell arriving September 26, 2025 via DKA Records.

Dowlen will be going on tour and playing Montreal Pop Fest in September.

Dowlen says,“Vacation” (much like “Anything”) has themes of consumerism as distraction and speaks to the overwhelming flow of advertisements we receive on a daily basis. The cycles of consumerism and capitalism (paycheck to paycheck struggles) are present in the lyrics as well as the state of constant information + media overload.

Meghan Dowlen is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and performer from Atlanta, GA. Her music guides us through the duality of femininity with both brute force and sensitivity. With its dance pop sensibilities and subtle homages to new-wave, her upcoming sophomore album Dizzy Spell draws clear lines of inspiration while standing very much on its own ground. With theatrics emulating the likes of Kate Bush and vocal dexterities of Nina Hagen, Meghan escorts the audience along the journey into the joy, the anger, the unknown, and everything in between.
