Cristina Hart – Thank You For Leaving

After a year-long break from releasing music to focus on writing, recording, and refining her vision, rising pop-rock artist Cristina Hart made an unforgettable return, opening for Louis Tomlinson in front of 5,000 fans at his Zurich Open Air City show.
Hart was personally handpicked by Louis Tomlinson and his team as the main support act, and with just four days’ notice, she rallied her band, locked in rehearsals and drove 17 hours to Zurich with her crew to make it happen.
“My last band show was to 30 people — and I’m completely independent — so getting this email was surreal,” says Hart. “It only really sank in the morning of the show, when I woke up in Zurich.”
Cristina performed a set laced with unreleased material, including her upcoming anthemic single ‘Thank You For Leaving.’
The crowd response was electric — 5,000 people cheering, hands in the air — and the momentum from the show led Hart to push her next release forward, after receiving thousands of messages from new fans eager to hear more.
“Watching the videos back is absolutely surreal. I still can’t believe it happened — but it did. I’m so incredibly proud of how it went and grateful to every person in that crowd who welcomed me with open arms.”
Thanks to receiving the Help Musicians award in December, Hart was able to fund the production of her upcoming EP, Everything I Never Wanted, a bold collection of songs that marks a new era in her artistry.
Drawing influence from the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Conan Gray, and Joan Jett, Cristina’s sound blends punchy pop hooks with incisive lyrics and gritty production. Her new material is confident, cathartic, and unfiltered, tackling themes of heartbreak, boundaries, and reclaiming your power.
“This music is about being unapologetically honest. It’s messy, it’s emotional, it’s loud, it’s angry. I want people to scream these songs in their bedrooms or on their way to cut someone off.”
Cristina Hart has been quietly building her career in London over the past 9 years — juggling odd jobs, playing countless cover gigs, and developing her craft. But this moment, sharing her original music on a huge stage, marks the start of something much bigger.
“I don’t think I’ll ever forget this show. It was the best night of my life — an actual dream come true.”
She’s got plans to release a lot of new music that she’ll be rolling out over the next year
