Today, cult-favorite pop disruptor SLAYYYTER kicks off a new era with “BEAT UP CHANEL$”, produced by Austin Corona and Wyatt Bernard. The single, laced with high-gloss lyrics about love, excess and detachment, is out everywhere now via RECORDS / Columbia Records. “BEAT UP CHANEL$” is accompanied by an official music video with imagery depicting the grungy carefree lifestyle told through the track’s lyrics.

“BEAT UP CHANEL$” marks SLAYYYTER’s first release since signing to RECORDS / Columbia Records.

With “BEAT UP CHANEL$”, SLAYYYTER serves a club anthem packed with chaos, couture and cutthroat attitude. Fueled by glitchy club beats and pulsating synths, the track is a maximalist fantasy at the intersection of materialism and heartbreak. For a fleeting moment, a flicker of longing peaks through when she admits “I WANT SOMETHING FOR REAL…” before snapping back into a frenzy of hair dye and afterparty hotel scenes. The result is a fever dream of fame and hedonism, kicking off what promises to be SLAYYYTER’s most defining chapter yet. The accompanying music video, codirected by SLAYYYTER and Hannah DeVries, creates a landscape for the raw and gritty new single.
