Smokey Brights will release their highly anticipated new album Dashboard Heat on September 26 via Seattle-based non-profit label Share It Music.

In alignment with Share It Music’s mission, a portion of the album’s proceeds will benefit the band’s chosen charity: The Vera Project, an all-ages nonprofit space committed to fostering personal and community transformation through youth-driven engagement in music and art.

The band released their latest pre-release single “Peace Sign Pentagram” along with a live video that was recorded at The Rabbit Box Theater in Seattle.

Seattle’s rock and roll storytellers, Smokey Brights, weave a tale about a young couple torn apart in  their newest single, “Peace Sign Pentagram,” a duet between lead vocalists Kim West and Ryan Devlin. Our protagonists are left with their memories of carefree summers, lake swims, stick and poke tattoos, chain wallets, and dreams of finally starting that band. It strikes a hopeful chord as the vocalists reunite in harmony, exclaiming, “ but maybe we still can!”

The single follows the release of the album’s lead single “All In Who You Know” and its vibrant music video.

The video was directed by frequent collaborator Travis Trautt and features the band fresh off a performance at the Moscow Ren Faire, engaged in an epic quest for a mythical object of dazzling power.

Smokey Bright have also announced Fall tour dates in support of Dashboard Heat. The band will be  hitting both coasts, the Southwest and the Northwest. The tour will include stops in Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Boston, New York City, Washington, D.C. and more. The band is also playing a hometown record release show on December 11 at The Crocodile.
