Haven Madison – Anybody

Today, rising alt-pop powerhouse Haven Madison releases her next single “Anybody” via BMG/19.
Written by Haven Madison, Jessica Farren, and Andrew DeRoberts, “Anybody” is an unflinchingly honest reflection of losing yourself to please a romantic partner. Through cutting, barbed lyrics, Haven examines how the lack of self-value and confidence can lead to molding yourself to fit someone else’s tastes and preferences.
“You could say I’m not your type / And I would change to what you like,” Haven sings, “I got grace for a million days for anybody / Anybody but me.”
The juxtaposition of “Anybody’s” brutally honest lyrics set to a cheery melody mirror the track’s tale of keeping a smile on your face and making nice, even when you are being cut down over and over again.
Of the new single, Haven says “I just had this epiphany moment where I realized I’m so much better at loving other people than myself. This song is a funny way of explaining how stupid it is that I can sometimes love a loser guy more than I can love the girl in the mirror.”
“Anybody” follows her soaring, defiant May release of “Castle,” which continues to find success on the radio charts and playlist, as well as her haunting April track, “Why Do the Pills Work.”
This Fall, Haven will tour North America with Stacey Ryan, kicking off on September 20th in San Francisco, California and wrapping up on October 30th in West Hollywood, California – including stops in Nashville, Washington DC, Toronto, Dallas and Phoenix.
