Yali Blank – Carousel

Singer and producer Yael Blankstein, aka Yali Blank, is one of the most unique artists to appear in recent times on the Electro-pop scene. Today, Yali Blank is sharing her new single “Carousel.”

Blending electropop with UK garage and DnB textures, the track was written after a period of emotional detachment and burnout, exploring what it feels like to move through life on autopilot.

“I wrote ‘Carousel’ after a time in my life when everything felt numb,” Blank explains. “I was going through the motions, smiling at parties, dancing in clubs, but completely disconnected inside. The song is about that strange emotional loop — when you’re spinning around and around but not really feeling anything. It’s glossy and upbeat on the surface, but underneath there’s a quiet scream for something real.”

A childhood cancer survivor, Yali creates music that fearlessly merges technical precision with emotional rawness. “Carousel” pairs glossy production with lyrical honesty.
