Karen Waldrup – Blue Cowboy Boots

Karen Waldrup, known for her powerful voice, viral videos, and creative spirit, is excited to release the official music video for her latest single, “Blue Cowboy Boots.”
The music video for ‘Blue Cowboy Boots’ is a true gift from my Louisiana roots,” shares Waldrup. “We filmed it while riding as the Grand Marshall in a 2025 Mardi Gras parade and with live shots at a crawfish festival in Louisiana on stage with the band. The video is a fun, feel-good experience all about having a good time & individuality. You’re not blue anymore when you’re in blue cowboy boots.”
Produced and edited by Todd Schmidt, the video takes viewers on an exciting ride through the streets of Louisiana and onto the stage in front of a live audience at the Louisiana Crawfish Festival, offering a journey filled with excitement and festivities. In the song, “blue cowboy boots” serve as a symbol of independence, confidence, and freedom, while doubling as a bold fashion statement. Co-written by Waldrup and GRAMMY-nominated songwriter Ed Hill (Trisha Yearwood, Tracy Lawrence, Luke Bryan), the track was produced by John Piniero and mixed by Ed Seay.
