Breakout pop disruptors Pebbles&TamTam have unveiled their dreamy new single, “Pinky Swear?,” available now via Atlantic Records.

On the inspiration behind “Pinky Swear?” Pebbles&TamTam share: “A first crush. Kicking my feet and twirling my hands in my hair during hours spent giggling over the phone. Butterflies waiting for them to respond to that risky text. I’ve never felt this, so I certainly don’t want to lose it. What if I never find it again? Pinky Swear so I know it’s real. Please? Suddenly after a second listen, this adorable love song crumbles into a chasm of insecurity and scarcity. Is my obsession reciprocated? I’ve convinced myself that I need this person’s love and acceptance in order to maintain my own sanity. But it’s all worth it for the rush of young love…. Right?”
Co-produced by the duo themselves, alongside Boston & Pat (Tinashe, Artemas) and VITALS, “Pinky Swear?” is the latest offering from the Los Angeles-based artists’ Sleepover! the mixtape 😛 era. The subversive new track marks a slight sonic departure from their previous single, “Case Closed,” a high-energy blend of underground pop, hip-hop, and club-ready dance music, that is accompanied by a gritty, Y2K-inspired house party visual.
In contrast, “Pinky Swear” leans into a more bubblegum, ethereal sound—dreamlike and affectionate—further expanding the immersive, nostalgic landscape of the upcoming project.
