Grandmas House – Anything For You
Grandmas House Announce Fierce and Emotional New EP Anything For You, Out 11th April via Duchess Box Records. The five−track collection showcases the band’s raw evolution, blending their signature ferocious sound with striking vulnerability.
The Anything For You EP features the previously released singles “Screw It Up”, “Slaughterhouse”, “From The Gods”, and the most recent emotionally charged single, “Haunt Me”. The EP will be available digitally, as well as in a limited edition 10″ vinyl − a must−have for fans and collectors.
The band explains why they chose to release another EP before a full-length album:
“Since our last EP, we’ve grown so much musically and emotionally. The songs on Anything For You were written during a time when grief visited us in every form − death, breakups, illness − and they work together as a perfect snapshot of the last year. This EP is an appetizer, a taste of what’s to come.”
Recorded in Bath with producer Scott Barnett − a longtime collaborator since their single “Always Happy” − the EP also marks the first release with Grandmas House’s newest member, Polly.
“We added an extra guitar during recording, and suddenly our sound felt bigger, fuller. We didn’t want to lose that energy live, so asking Polly to join was an easy decision. She’s an incredible guitarist and a perfect fit for us. Our sound feels more dynamic and free than ever before.”
While each track stands on its own, there’s a clear emotional thread weaving through the Anything For You EP. The band shares:
“The whole EP was written at a time when we were all facing loss in different ways − losing people we loved, relationships breaking down, and missing life before illness. It’s vulnerable, but it’s also defiant.”
