Colbie Caillat ft Russell Dickerson – If You Love Me Let Me Go –

Colbie Caillat by Patrick Tracy2

GRAMMY Award-winning artist Colbie Caillat has released her new single, “If You Love Me Let Me Go,” featuring country star Russell Dickerson. The song is available now via Blue Jean Baby Records.

Written by Caillat, Jamie Scott (One Direction, Ed Sheeran), John Ryan (One Direction, Sabrina Carpenter), and Julian Bunetta (One Direction, Teddy Swims, Thomas Rhett), and produced by Jimmy Robbins and Eric Arjes, the heartfelt track captures the emotional push-and-pull of a couple trapped in an endless cycle of breaking up and making up.

The official music video, directed by Patrick Tracy, is also now out. Filmed in Nashville, it features Caillat and Dickerson singing about a partner who isn’t physically present but still lingers through strong emotions. Despite their love for each other, it’s not enough to sustain the relationship, and sometimes, true love means letting go.

“After a breakup, it’s easy to get caught in the cycle of someone drifting in and out of your life,” said Caillat. “But love isn’t just about holding on—it’s also about knowing when to let go for the sake of both hearts. Adding Russell’s voice to this song captured that idea perfectly.”

“I’ve always been a huge fan of Colbie!,” said Dickerson. “So, when she asked me to join her on this song, I was honestly blown away. Her music is timeless, and she’s truly the voice of a generation. Being part of something like this is such an honor and a pleasure!”

“If You Love Me Let Me Go” is the first taste of new music from Colbie Caillat, with more to come later this year.
