Victoria Bigelow – Songs For No One Vol. 2

Victoria Bigelow tells breathtaking stories of heartbreak and bittersweet hope and, today, she announces her latest project, Songs for No One Vol 2.

Produced by Devan Skaggs, her new EP is due May 10 via Immortal Records. She also shares lead single, “Under the Tree,” a song she wrote while on a family trip in Wyoming, inspired by the writing of one of her heroes.
“Sylvia Plath’s writing has always made me feel seen and validated,” notes Bigelow. “The Bell Jar sees the protagonist sit underneath a fig tree, unable to decide which fig she wants to eat first, with the figs representing different paths she can walk her life down. Instead of choosing she becomes paralyzed by her indecision and watches as they all turn black and fall to the ground… It’s an analogy that I have always connected with and really love, and is at the heart of the song.”
