Eyes Of Bel – Scorpio Rising

Eyes Of Bel

Unveiling the next look of her forthcoming 7 track EP, Eyes of Bel releases ‘Scorpio Rising’, an intimate revelation and declaration of queer awakening.

Out Friday 13 November, her EP titled End of an Era plays on the many meanings; both good and bad, resilient and cathartic, and through the seven works tells different stories about each phase.

End Of An Era

Created from a place of queer sexual awakening and astrological identity, ‘Scorpio Rising’ is steeped in quiet intensity and the gravitational pull of what you truly really want, released quite aptly in the lead up to scorpio season.“Scorpio Rising’ is one of my favourite songs on the record. There was something both difficult and empowering about putting that desire into words. But the song is naturally so sexy, I could lean into that feeling and let it say what I found hard to.” – Eyes of Bel

End of an Era explores love, loss, sexual identity, survival, hope and change. Created alongside Cheekbone, with other songs created with Robert Downie and Tony Buchen, each of the seven songs was written during a period of personal upheaval, calling into question identity and self and what might remain in letting go of an old self.  “None of the songs exist in a single emotional state. Hope and pain sit beside each other because that is how I experienced this chapter of my life, and how I continue to experience it.” – Eyes of Bel

With melodies and unflinching emotion, Eyes of Bel invites listeners into a world where vulnerability becomes power as it walks hand in hand with strength, crafting sonic landscapes that feel pulled from the edges of a dream. Intimate one moment and soaring the next, her creativity is unafraid of quiet or chaos as she captures the moments that linger: a glance, a confession, a truth you didn’t see coming. With a voice capable of cutting like glass one moment and melting like honey the next, she continues to carve out a space uniquely her own.

Join Bel as she captures the process of changing, grieving, questioning, surviving and beginning to imagine a life beyond what had ended as she marks the most truthful representation yet of she is as an artist.
